Pension Check

What we process here

This page explains what data is processed in the pension check at vorsorge-check.northlake-partners.ch — calculation inputs, session IDs, cookies, lead data on booking. The full Northlake Partners GmbH privacy notice (controller, all processors, data-subject rights, complaints to the Swiss FDPIC) is on northlake-partners.ch/datenschutz. Swiss law applies; the German version is authoritative in case of discrepancies.

1.

Who is responsible

The controller for processing your data in this funnel is Northlake Partners GmbH (Freilagerstrasse 81, 8047 Zurich, FINMA F01563972, UID CHE-454.354.180). Full contact and identification details in the main privacy notice. For data-protection requests please contact: [email protected].

2.

What data the funnel collects

The pension check is a tool for a non-binding tax-saving estimate followed by a slot booking. Concretely we process:

  • Calculation inputs (canton of residence, approximate gross income, marital status, pension-fund status). Used in your browser for the calculation; only transmitted to our server when you confirm a booking.
  • Contact details on booking (first name, last name, email, phone, optional note) — only at the binding-booking step.
  • Anonymous session data in the browser local storage (nl-funnel-session-v1 and nl-funnel-consent-v1) for conversion-path tracking and cookie selection.
  • Technical connection data (hashed IP address with a secret salt, user agent, timestamp). We do not store IP addresses in clear text.
  • UTM parameters from the URL (campaign, medium, source) — if you arrive via a marketing link. Used to attribute which channel produced a booking.

No individual profiling. We do not build behavioural or credit profiles from your inputs. The calculation is an estimate based on published tax tariffs.

3.

How long we retain funnel data

Lead without booking — if you do not complete the pension check, the submitted data is automatically anonymised after 24 months. Aggregated statistical data (canton, UTM source) remains in anonymised form. A nightly cron sets first/last name to [ANONYMIZED], email/phone/note to null, IP hash and user agent to null.

Lead with booking — subject to FINMA and anti-money-laundering retention periods (typically 10 years after the end of the mandate), as for all advisory contacts.

Cookie consent — stored exclusively in your browser local storage, never server-side.

4.

Cookie banner and Meta Pixel

We use two categories:

  • Essential — technically required (session, CSRF, your cookie choice). Set without consent.
  • Marketing — Meta Pixel for reach measurement. Loaded only after your active consent in the cookie banner. Without consent: no pixel request, no transfer to Meta. On withdrawal we inform Meta server-side via fbq("consent", "revoke").

You can change your consent at any time via the Change cookie settings link in the footer.

5.

Self-service deletion

You can have your funnel data deleted at any time. Self-service flow at /datenschutz/loeschen: enter your email → confirmation email with a one-time token → click the link in the email → anonymisation. Tokens are valid for 7 days.

The confirmation step protects against unauthorised deletion requests by third parties. Alternatively you can write to: [email protected].
